I had the distinct pleasure of contributing an article to African Brains. I wrote a piece examining the urgent need for internet availability in remote areas in Africa. Ultimately, lack of availability is most detrimental for the children living in these communities.
I also examine the history of satellite internet itself, the technological means which could yield a solution for these rural communities. Sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke and legendary magnate Howard Hughes were two individuals who made significant contribution to the development of this technology.
